  1. Reservations are based upon availability.
  2. The deposit to reserve and hold a room at the Put-in-Bay Resort & Conference Center, the Put-in-Bay Villas, the Edgewater Hotel, and the Bay Lodging Resort is 100% of the entire stay being booked. Deposits are taken at the time of booking.
  3. Rooms: Cancellations must be received by email. There is a $25 cancellation fee per room when received 15 days or more prior to scheduled date of arrival. Cancellations received 14 days or less before arrival date will result in the loss of the deposit. Once within the 14 days prior to arrival, no changes can be made to date length of stay, or room type. No exceptions will be made. When reservations are made day of arrival, full amount will be charged and no refund will be given if cancelled or no show. This cancellation policy goes into effect as soon as the reservation is made. No refunds will be given for early departures.
  4. Villas: Cancellations must be received by email. Please reply to your confirmation email to cancel. Cancellations made at least 90 days prior to arrival date will result in a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations made between 89-45 days prior to arrival date will result in a $100 cancellation fee. Cancellations made 44 days or less will result in a forfeit of deposit. Once within the 44 days prior to arrival date, no changes can be made to the length of stay, date, or room type. No exceptions will be made. When reservations are made day of arrival, full amount will be charged and no refund will be given if cancelled or a no show. This cancellation policy goes into effect as soon as the reservation is made. All weekend reservations, those that include a Friday and/or Saturday stay, will require a $500 security deposit upon arrival. All other reservations will require a $250 security deposit upon arrival.
  5. Suites: Cancellations must be received by email. There is a $25 cancellation fee per Suite when received 15 days or more prior to scheduled date of arrival. Cancellations received 14 days or less before arrival will result in the loss of the deposit. Once within the 14 days prior to arrival, no changes can be made to the reservation including date, length of stay, or room type. No exceptions will be made. When reservations are made day of arrival, full amount will be charged and no refund will be given if cancelled or a no show. This cancellation policy goes into effect as soon as the reservation is made. All weekend reservations, those that include a Friday and/or Saturday stay, will require a $250 security deposit upon arrival.
  6. A fee of $150 will be charged for rooms left unreasonably messy. All properties are entirely Non Smoking Resorts, and smoking in a guest room will incur a $250.00 reconditioning charge and possibly face eviction. Guest may smoke outside, in the pool area, courtyard and bar areas. Guests will be charged for any damage done to the room and/or its contents.
  7. All cancellations and changes must be submitted and received in writing by email at reservations@betterthangroupon.com.
  8. May not be combined with any other offers.
  9. Bar tab is valid during stay and must be used by noon on day of departure.
  10. An email confirmation will be sent to you within 48 hours showing your deposit, reservation and confirmation number.
  11. Valid on new reservations only, made after Aprl 10 2017.
